Evan Kilgore has been writing and working in Los Angeles, California, for more than twenty years. His body of work includes novels, produced features, and projects in studio and production development, as well as visual artwork.
Mystery/Thriller & Suspense
Kilgore sold his first novel, Who is Shayla Hacker, to Bleak House Books during his senior year as an undergraduate at the University of Southern California. He has since written four more mystery/thrillers, while also previously serving on the Board of Directors at the Mystery Writers of America.
Feature and Television Projects in Development
Evan Kilgore began developing screenwriting projects with writing partner Samuel Franco more than a decade ago. Both were included in Variety's Top Ten Writers to Watch, and their scripts have been honored on the Black List, Hit List, and Young and Hungry List. They have sold projects to studios and production houses including Searchlight, ITV, FX Networks, NBC-Peacock, Anonymous Content, Thunder Road, MadRiver, Impossible Dream Entertainment, and more.
